Abar was a Nubian queen of the Kingdom of Kush that ruled during the Twenty-fifth Dynasty of Egypt. We chose to name one of our products after queen Abar because we want to bring people’s attention to this powerful queen who from her and her husband king Piye came royal descendants of kings and queens who ruled both Nubia and ancient Egypt.
